In 2006 the Asian American Association in collaboration with the Multicultural Center began UnificAsian. This orientation is held at the beginning of the academic year to welcome Asian identified students to the Mizzou community. The orientation is an opportunity to connect with students of this identity group who can assist in the transition to the community. UnificAsian is filled with fun, activities, games, and food; in addition to a resource fair, representation from different clubs and organizations, and a highlighted speaker from the Mizzou community. In addition to this, students are there to assist incoming students with questions they may have, provide resources, and overall provide a continued investment in the success of the Asian American student population here at the University. If you would like more information regarding UnificAsian, feel free to the Multicultural Center.
