Justice Family Brunch
This event first began as an event part of the Multicultural Center and now happens in collaboration with all of the Social Justice Centers. This event occurs during Family Weekend and allows students to participate in the Family Weekend festivities by coming together with loved ones and their chosen families on campus.
Culture Couture
Culture Couture is a fashion show, that allows various groups to come together to display different styles of cultural dress, their significance and meaning. This event allows those in the Mizzou community to gain an understanding of cultural appropriation versus appreciation in a social way.
Hate Wall
HATE Wall is an opportunity to use your voice in expressing hateful language you have heard in hopes to create awareness about hurtful language in our society and community. All of this is in hopes that we can STOP the hate! This event happens in collaboration with Four Front, the council for marginalized students and student groups.
Tunnel of Oppression
Tunnel of Oppression will be an interactive theater experience. Participants will walk through different theaters designed to display oppression of marginalized group. The event will end with a debrief facilitated by the Diversity Peer Educators.
Noche Latin@
Noche Latin@ is an event sponsored by the Multicultural Center and collaborates with Latin@ groups across campus. We have a variety of Latin@ culturally reflective activities and foods. Come out and learn more about different identities in the Latin@ community.
